In Sail the Oceans Queer, you are the crew aboard a ship sailing to grand adventures! You came together much as many find their true found family: through a connected queer identity and understanding of the world around you. You find your power and strength through the friendships you’ve forged through your fellow pirate crew members, and together you can face any challenge that may come your way!

This game is meant to be played collaboratively with a Storyteller and 2-4 players. Everyone at the table can shape the world and story told, and in fact are encouraged to do so.

We had such a wonderful time with this game! The mechanics are easy to pick up and encourage and support roleplaying at the core of the experience. There's a really nice breadth of character backgrounds to choose from to really make your character your own. I'd absolutely recommend this!

Our full review (and actual play!) has already been linked but just in case, you can find it here: https://www.rollplusheart.co.uk/blog/sail-the-oceans-queer

Roll Plus Heart's lovely review of the game (and podcast should you want to listen to their playthrough!!) is available on their website here: https://www.rollplusheart.co.uk/blog/sail-the-oceans-queer

Ahoy, Me Hearties!

I was lucky enough to play this a few days ago and had a blast! The mechanics are very easy to learn so you can carouse and pillage to your heart's content without strainin' your noggin.

I'm still thinking about our crew and their little adventure. I plan to play again and definitely recommend this lighthearted RPG where the only limit is your imagination and a roll of the dice.

(Although, the "bad rolls" were pretty hilarious, so win-win?)
