In Sail the Oceans Queer, you are the pirate crew sailing the high seas in search of adventure. You have come together as a true found family, or perhaps even more, through your shared understanding and connected queer identities. You find your strength through the friendships you have forged with your crew, and together you can face any challenge that comes your way!
This game is played with a Storyteller and 2-4 players, where actions are resolved by rolling a pool of d4 dice. Everyone is encouraged to collaborate on shaping the world and to contribute to the tales told.

We had such a wonderful time with this game! The mechanics are easy to pick up and encourage and support roleplaying at the core of the experience. There's a really nice breadth of character backgrounds to choose from to really make your character your own. I'd absolutely recommend this!
Our full review (and actual play!) has already been linked but just in case, you can find it here: https://www.rollplusheart.co.uk/blog/sail-the-oceans-queer

Ahoy, Me Hearties!
I was lucky enough to play this a few days ago and had a blast! The mechanics are very easy to learn so you can carouse and pillage to your heart's content without strainin' your noggin.
I'm still thinking about our crew and their little adventure. I plan to play again and definitely recommend this lighthearted RPG where the only limit is your imagination and a roll of the dice.
(Although, the "bad rolls" were pretty hilarious, so win-win?)
