My first Candela Obscura Assignment is published!!

I've been working on this module ever since I first got the quickstart guide over the summer, and after asking Spenser Starke on Twitter, patiently waited until the official book's release to finally publish my first Assignment for this new game! The writing style is based largely on what we see in the core rulebook's example Assignments, with potential things for Investigators to find in all manner of nooks and crannies. 

For those who have watched the APs I've run for Candela Obscura with Valdrianth and Hoard of Tales on Twitch, you'll recognize a lot of what I wrote for those two sessions in this, although I have altered wording and the overarching story to suit being inserted into anyone's game. 

As written, this module can run for 2-3 sessions depending on how much you want to expand on the world. Play with the story I provide for you here and make it your own! Quite a few hints and clues I've left open to your interpretation, so make of them what you will to tie them into your own table's story.

And just a note, for those interested in running Candela games and looking at DTRPG for options...the only other person who is currently posting Candela Assignments is using AI to generate the "artwork" for their modules and you won't know it until you download the PDFs and scroll to the credits on the last page of the PDFs. I know the vast majority of our community stands against using AI (we support real human artists here!) and I just wanted others to be made aware of that fact.
